It's that time once again to enjoy a New Moon!! With our New Moon comes an amazing opportunity to allow ourself sometime to figure out what it is we want in life. It's the best time to set our intensions, plant the seeds and make our dreams and wishes a reality!
This New Moon in Leo is a very exciting one, as on Monday August 21st we will also be having a Total Solar Eclipse!! I find it very fitting that Monday Nights Moon is in Leo and we are having a Solar Eclipse because as you know, or might not know... Leo is governed by the Sun. Each of the Sun/Star Signs have a planet they are governed by. With Leo's being ruled by the Sun, they are very outward and like to shine bright! They like to show the world who they are, just like our lovely Sun.

Total Solar Eclipse
We are lucky today to be able to witness the Last and Final Solar Eclipse in 2017! This Total Solar Eclipse will be seen all across the USA. From our West Coast to the East. I live in Southern California, and for us here we will get to see a Partial Solar Eclipse...it will start taking place at 9:06 am PST. The Eclipse will reach it's maximum point here at 10:22 am and will end by 11:46 am on Aug. 21st, 2017. During this time, the Moon will move into perfect alignment between us here on Earth.... and our Sun. In turn, this will block the Sun from our view for a time. As the Eclipse will be super cool to witness, Remember to be kind to your eyes and NEVER LOOK directly into the Solar Eclipse!! Eclipse always come in pairs. This is the 2nd of the Eclipse as we had a Partial Lunar Eclipse happen on Monday, August 7th, 2017. This last time around the Lunar Eclipse came 1st, and as it goes... 2 weeks later is the next Eclipse....which leads us to this Solar Eclipse we have going on Monday August 21st. This time a very strong energy will be present! With the perfect alignment of the Sun, Moon and Earth... this brings an extra energy punch into the mix on the 21st. The Moon's energy will be stronger than normal because it will be closer to Earth! Since this is a Solar Eclipse this time around... it gives the stage more to Luna and thus making her energy amplified during this time. With that being said, our New Moon energy will help move along our intentions we set on the 21st with even more power than normal!

When the Solar Eclipse happens the Sun rays are completely blocked by the Moon. It's all about the angle of the Earth which makes this happen and the alignment of the Sun and Moon. This will be the 1st time in 99 years where the Moon will pass in front of the Sun casting darkness across the Earth's surface! It has earned the name the "Great American Eclipse". In other parts of the world... you will most likely see a partial Solar Eclipse.
This will be a once in a lifetime event! The last time a total solar eclipse was visible from coast to coast was almost 100 years ago, on June 8th,1918! The following States will experience the Total Solar Eclipse affects as these states will go completely dark!
Starting in Oregon it will then make it's way to Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina. The rest of us in the USA will experience it as a Partial Solar Eclipse!
