Get ready for a string of Retrogrades!!
We kick start this month off with Saturn in Retrograde (5/11), followed by Venus on (5/12), and finishing this month off with Jupiter (5/14)!! That's a lot of energy shifts in a row!!
This will start off my blog posts this week as we learn all about Saturn and what to expect as it goes into retrograde.
As the week progresses, you will receive in your email, more information about the other planets to help you navigate with more ease!
Onward now to Saturn!
When retrogrades happen, regardless of which planet it is....they turn the planet's energy inward, which causes us to feel them internally and externally!!
It's really nothing to fear, and this is nothing new. The best thing we can do is be educated on the subject so that when these Retrogrades happen, we can adjust to situations.
If your Sun/Star sign is Capricorn, this is your ruling planet. What this means is that these things will affect you more strongly than others signs in the zodiac.
Remember, you have the power in how you respond to situations!

Saturn's Cycle:
It takes 29 1/2 Earth years for Saturn to complete one orbit around the Sun.
Saturn takes 10 1/2 hours to rotate once on it's axis, this means that a single year on Saturn last about 24,491 Satrunian solar days. Due to this, we on Earth, are able to see Saturn's' rings change over time. Just like Earth, Saturn goes through seasonal changes during the course of it's orbital period.

Here is a fun fact about Saturn... did you know, it actually rains diamonds there?
It's true... both Saturn and Jupiter exhibit this amazing quality!
This happens because of the carbon content on the planet! When a lightening storm happens on Saturn, it turns methane into soot aka carbon... which hardens into chunks of graphite and then turns into a dazzling diamond as they fall to the ground.
The diamonds it produces from the storms are about a centimeter in diameter, definitely big enough to put on a ring!! Neat!
Saturn's storms product a whopping 1,000 diamonds a year!
What happens When Saturn is in Retrograde...
This is a time when we are going to be feeling a lot of fight within us! It will be a time where you feel like fighting or bucking the system! With all the energies circulating lately, when Saturn goes into Retrograde be ready for some huge shifts to start to happen!
As the Planet of Karma, you will start to notice things becoming more in balance.
The Universe loves balance, and karma helps facilitate that balance.
Sometimes people think of karma like "getting even" but what karma is meant for is to bring balance back into the Universe. So, if there was something you did to wrong...say to a person for example... the Universe will find a way to balance that out. It's not to say someone will wrong you, but what could happen is you might find yourself in a situation that you are at the mercy of others. Thus, the Universe finding that perfect balance in all things again!
Also during this time, you might start to feel a lack in boundaries. That you are sick and tired of the "games" of society, and that you are ready to take responsibility for who you are and your actions... and find discipline in your life, on your terms.
How to Deal...
During this time don't take the easy way out!! It's not recommend to take short cuts, as short cuts could lead to karma that you will need to balance out in the long run. Just take your time and be patient. Take it slow, as you move through new found energy shifts!
It's best to take your time and do things right the first time around! We all need to learn lessons... that is whole reason we came to this life time. If we rush through things we might be skipping some important lessons along the way, thus creating a cycle that will continue to repeat it's self until we learn that lesson fully. So take your time!
Understand that you do have limitations in this life, and with that comes patients. Some things take time to learn at the right time.
Even though things might not be moving or changes as fast as you'd like them to be... it could be a lesson you needed during this time. So being patient is a must!
Take this time to learn from your mistakes. Take each new lesson with grace and gratefulness, realizing the wisdom and understanding you now have.
To be able to see things from a different vantage point. Allowing you to expand the wisdom of your Soul!
Practice meditation and release things that no longer serve you!
This is a great way to work though any karma that you may have in stuck in your energy field.
